Gathering information on material location, making “Archive@Archive Directory”

JCRI is carrying out research and listing major archives and their characteristic related to wide range of cultural field and push forward making Directory sheet “Archive@ Archive Directory” (Archive@).
We are currently working on dividing this information within the “Archive @” into the following three steps.

① List of locations related to Post War Japanese Art
② Examined list especially conforming to the concept of JCRI from all the list
③ General list of major archive on wide range of cultural field and their character

① Will be a list focusing on postwar Japanese Art.
② is a selected from ③, which is a list of materials conforming to the concept of JCRI, such as fine arts, architecture, music, literature and design, and will be examined to be listed.
③ In this list, we will propose institutions and groups from all over Japan, and list up the researched information on materials of the major materials, names, classifications, characters and locations.

We are currently making lists of ①, ② and ③,and simultaneously making a booklet of ③, which is a basic list, and will make a booklet of ② based on ③.
