Formed in 1951, Experimental Workshop was an artists' organization that brought together artists, musicians, and others and left behind many groundbreaking activities through active interactions that transcended genre boundaries. This book is a partial English translation of "Document: Experimental Workshop 2010" (edited by Harumi Nishizawa, Tokyo Publishing House), which contains pamphlets, photographs, newspaper and magazine reviews, and other materials from the period between 1951 and 1957, and provides a complete overview of their activities.
